Prepare for the Solar Eclipse

On Monday, August 21, 2017, all of North America will be treated to an eclipse of the sun. Anyone within the path of totality can see one of nature’s most awe-inspiring sights - a total solar eclipse. The last time most Americans experienced a total solar eclipse was 1991. NASA created a website to provide a guide to this amazing event. On this site you can find safety information and resources from NASA and their partners across the nation. The Division of Risk Management would like to encourage all state employees and citizens to pay attention to safety recommendations from NASA when viewing the solar eclipse on Monday. Visit https://eclipse2017.nasa.gov/ to learn information about a solar eclipse including LIVESTREAM video and an interactive map!
